How Mearth RS electric scooter sparked a love story in Australia
It was a warm, sunny day in Sydney, and Steve, 30, was on his way to work at an accounting firm. He had recently bought a Mearth RS electric scooter. He loved the feeling of freedom and speed it gave him. He zoomed past the traffic, enjoying the breeze and the scenery.
When he was about to cross a busy intersection, he saw her.
She was standing on the sidewalk, holding an electric scooter of her own. She had long blonde hair, blue eyes, and a smile that made his heart skip a beat. She was pretty, too.
Like Steve, she looked like she was waiting for the green light to cross the street.
Steve felt an instant attraction, and decided to take a chance. He approached her, smiling.
He said, "Hi, I'm Steve. Nice scooter you have there."
She smiled back and said, "Hi, I'm Louise. Thanks, I just got it yesterday."
They exchanged a few pleasantries. Steve learned that Louise was 27 and she worked at a nearby coffee shop. He asked her if she wanted to ride with him, and she agreed.
They crossed the street together, and rode along the waterfront.
Both Steve and Louise felt a connection as they talked and laughed. As they shared their interests, hobbies, and dreams, they found out that they had a lot in common. They both loved adventure and travel.
After awhile, they decided to stop at a park, and sat on a bench. They looked into each other's eyes, and felt a spark. Jake leaned in and kissed her softly on the cheek. She kissed him shyly, on the cheek too.
They spent the next hour laughing, whispering sweet nothings, talking. It was almost dusk when Louise remembered she had to go home. They exchanged phone numbers, and agreed to see each other again.
They hugged and kissed goodbye, and they rode away separately, on their scooters.
Steve and Louise did keep in touch. They went on more dates. They explored the city together, riding their scooters to different places. The lovers visited museums, galleries, restaurants, and bars.
They also went on trips to the countryside, camping and hiking, as both enjoyed nature, wildlife, and each other's company.
It was only a matter of time. Both fell in love.
One day, Steve decided to surprise Louise with a special gift. He bought her a new electric scooter. It was Mearth RS with a custom design that said "I love you" on it. He also bought a ring, and hid it in the scooter's compartment.
He invited Louise for a ride, and took her to the park where they first kissed.
He gave her the new Mearth RS scooter, and told her to open the compartment. She did so, and found the ring inside.
Gasping, unbelieving, Louise looked at Steve with tears in her eyes. He got down on one knee, and said, "Louise, you are the love of my life. You make me happy every day. Will you marry me?"
“Yes! Yes! Yes!” Louise was nodding and crying. He then slipped the ring on her finger, and kissed her, full of love. They hugged and both were in tears – tears of joy.
A few months later, got married in civil ceremony. Steve and Louise moved in together in a cozy, rented, apartment near the beach, where they could watch the sunset every evening. The couple decorated their home with photos of their travels, riding their e-scooters, happy souvenirs of their adventures, and gifts received from each other.
And their Mearth RS e-scooters? The couple has their rideables to thank for bringing them together.
It was fate that they met that day at the intersection. They said it was the best thing that had ever happened to them.
Like any love story, "they lived happily ever after..."
Except for that one time when Steve accidentally almost ran over Louse's cat Ruffle with his e-scooter.
-- But that's another story.
